We generate a fairly amazing amount of empty plastic JEDEC matrix trays,
and rather than throw them out, we box them and send them to a company in
Austin who "recycles" them.

Only problem is, the amount of money they give us does not justify the
effort of putting them in boxes; it amounts to pennies per tray.

Is anyone aware of a company who buys these matrix trays?

I would be willing to see us sort them by type, clean them, etc. if we
could get 1/2 what they are bound to cost...
