I believe that the customer is calling out for IPC-D-949. This is the
obsolete design standard that was replaced by IPC-D-275, in 1991. The solder
coat thickness, back then was 0.0003 inch. In the present standard, we call
for coverage to meet the soderability requirements og J-STD-003.
