I recently had the opportunity to test the KIC SlimKIC II and Autopredict
software for a client of mine.  Having done reflow profiling for the last
century or so I was skeptical of the "autopredict" function.  This was
compounded by having played with other attempts at profile prediction in the
past.  Suffice it to say I was very pleased with the KIC autopredict software.
I threw some easy and some complex assemblies at it (in terms of overall mass
and surface geometry compexity) and it did a very good job.  I strongly
recommend that you try it out on your own PCB applications.  I think you will
be pleased with the performance.
