Whoa, Frank!
I guess you are probably thinking of a solution of zinc chloride in
dilute hydrochloric acid ("Baker's Soldering Fluid"). Not at all
suitable for electronics soldering, unless you want to give your
assemblies a finite lifetime, i.e. two months before the components drop
off! Much used in the past for plumbing, car radiators and the like.
Residues are easily removed by hot water washing.
