We cannot remove everything that is dangerous. Instead, we have to learn
how to master the reality and live with it. I tell you a secret? Nearly
ALL elements are dangerous to us, except for those who won't share atoms
with the neighbours in the element system. Moreover, water is dangerous,
volcanoes are dangerous, cars are dangerous, guns are dangerous,
electricity is dangerous, glass is dangerous, knives are
dangerous,...the list is very, very long. The truth is that we are
placed in a world full of danger, and we have to be clever and match our
human body with the surrounding. Leadophobia is just the beginning of
the bureaucrazyphilosteria. Soon will come Copperophobia, Nickelophobia,
Manganeseophobia, Zincophobia etc.

I don't deny all those who fight for a better environment, we must care
much more, but I'm afraid of excesses created by whitecollars.

Inge

then we can no longer use it because of RoHS what will we do with all
the lead we've reclaimed?

Car batteries and battery backup systems still use lead. Not often, but
lead is also used in auto body work.
