"EEC" is the manufacturer's logo which was chosen by the board fabricator when the
initial submission for U/L recognition was made. It doesn't necessarily represent
anything, but in many cases it may be the initials of the manufacturer. The "M"
reflects a portion of their U/L recognition: solder limits, minimum line width, maximum
operating temperature, approved laminate and mask materials, etc. I'd hazard a guess
that you are dealing either with a multilayer board or with a company that has many
listings.
Sorry, I've never found a quick method for crossing the recognition marks to the
manufacturer's name. Unless somebody else has a better suggestion, try looking in the
U/L Yellow Book under Printed Wiring (ZPMV2??) under board fabricators with names
starting with "E".
