Hi Mike,

I have had similar thoughts. One can however still access the archives where
threads can be found which is similar to the message board.

As you note there are some that will alert you when there is a post on the
web in a subject area of special interest.

One thing that would be missing is spontaneity and some of the humor....
(then again having gotten to know and appreicate Dewey and many others here, maybe
it would not be missing after all...;-)
