Keynote address, "COMMERCIALIZATION OF SPACE TECHNOLOGY"
presented by Dr. James A. Rooney, Deputy Manager-
Technology Transfer and Commercialization Programs,
Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Ca
This special luncheon, which is open to both technical society members and
interested guests, will feature Dr. James A. rooney from JPL who will
discuss the many commercialization programs at JPL, review several new
commercial applications os space technology, and identify the many
microelectronics and material technologies developed at JPL that are
available to the commercial electronics industry.
This meeting will include introductions/remarks from national and local
technical society officers, an overview of major upcoming events for each
society, technical society table displays, and door prizes.
Technical societies participating in past joint meetings include:
ISHM, IEPS, SMTA, IEEE-CPMT, AmCerSoc, IPC, IICIT, SAMPE, CCA, MEPPE & SME.
Other technical societies associated with the electronics industry are
cordially invited to participate as well.
