with you off-line to develop a more effective screening process. The
process that you are using now does not seem to provide much thermal
stress, and is probably not very effective in weeding out problems.
>Our company is currently evaluating the use of Burn-In or Environmental
>Stress Screening our assemblies. We are a captive house providing board
>assemblies for the process control industry.

>Our current ESS cycle is as follows:
>
> Assemblies are elevated to 70°C in 5°C increments per minute.
>
> Then they are dropped to 0°C
>
> The cycle is repeated 12 times.
>
> Power is applied to the assemblies in 5 minute increments, 5 min.
>on
> then 5 min. off.

> Do other capitive assembly houses use a similisr test ?
