Fellow TechNetters:

    Does anyone out there have a microscope set up for viewing Dye Penetrant Cracks in cross sections?   I was shocked at the associated cost of the microscope equipment expense.   How is the quality of the dye penetrant in a cross section?   Is it worth the investment?
