There is such a thing as "roll tin", which is used mostly on single-sided 
boards.  It is a molten solder that is applied by a conveyorized roller 
system.  Talk to someone who makes single-sided boards, such as Kalmus or 
Photocircuits.  (See your Membership Directory for more listings in the 
back.)  Again, the vias are an unknown.

     Why not electroplate the tin on one side, & then mask off & do the
     nickel gold electroless/immersion?  As was already said, though,
     you'll have to watch what happens with the vias.

I have a customer who wants Tin on one side of his circuit
and Ni-Gold on the other.  The only way I can figure
out to do this is to use an electroless Tin.  Does anyone
know of a vendor who will do electroless tin plating?
