Ralph,

From an assembler point of view, I share some of the same concerns. In addition, I am very concerned on how to handle existing PWBs which specify 13949 material. DSCC has told me that they do not plan to add a statememt on the 13949 spec that it has been cancelled and replaced by IPC 4101. DSCC only plans to state that 13949 has been cancelled. This is significant because it does not create a clean paperwork trail from an audit standpoint. We may have up to approx. 1000 PWBs that are in active production which specify the 13949 material. We do not want to write Engineering Changes to switch over to IPC 4101. How are other assemblers handling this situation?
