Hi,
I though I would like to join in this fun of replying, having been at the back of the stage for long ;)
You are right in saying that. I am in-charge of a group of designers and though have not been hands-on for
quite a bit, find that this fan-out pattern is not practical to use. I agreed with you because if you
cannot see where you are heading, it is not practical to execute this fan-out pattern. In my opinion, if
the features in your CAD tools is not practical to use, then do not use it. I find it more practical to
create my own fan-out. If only the CAD tools has this flexibility to do so ;)? Don't you agree? By the way,
can the Mentor tool do that or allow customised fan-out pattern to be saved?
Regards.
