     I thought it might be informative for those of you dealing with
outgassing issues (called thermal vacuum stability, TVS at NASA) for
government programs to know of a data base maintained by NASA at Marshall
Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL.  It is called MAPTIS which stands for
Materials And Processes Technical Information System.  It contains a wealth
of information on TVS as well as flammability, toxicity, odor, atomic oxygen
