From what I have been able to review of the latest proposed 620A some of
problems you brought up are have been covered. Alan you can contact me

We work to IPC-620 and find it very lacking. We are having to put forth
a tremendous amount of effort to come up with something that will have
an adequate amount of information for both production and QA. We have
been looking to the aircraft industry for some examples. What has been
the hardest is to actually find the documentation, even if you know
somebody in the right places it can be difficult to pry the information
from them.
