Hey Doug,
Beats me too. But when this has been asked of us before, the spectrum and intensity of interest was actually sunlight UV.
If true in your case, the key words "conformal coating sunlight" yield more appropriate hits, as it avoids the redundancy of UV cure hits.

I believe a common test and measure application is the decreasing efficiency of solar panels covered with cc. I've been itchin to buy a 1-Sun source for this and related purposes.
The primary reason I mention it is that I'm sure somebody will have a joke about how I'm going to fit a sun in the building.

Chris

Subject: [TN] UV radiation and conformal coating

Good morning all,

Does anyone know of any papers on the effects of UV light on conformal coating? Not talking the cosmic radiation hard space kind. I know it would be wavelength and intensity specific. Got a question from one of our engineers and I, of course, gave the very intelligent answer of "Beats me". But I have this wonderful resourse called Technet...............

Doug Pauls
