Jimmy,

Here's a couple suggestions from someone who has been through
what you're getting into.

1) Check out the PCB Design Conference West coming up in
March in Santa Clara, CA. look at WWW.PCBDCON.COM
for the relevnet information (schedule, classes, tutorial, etc)

2) Check out WWW.SMTPLUS.COM. James Blankenhorn has
been in the business for years, and gives some very good courses
on these subjects (novice to advanced, in-house or out)

3) Check the Copper Connection (WWW.COPPERCONN.COM). This
might be exactly what you're looking for. They offer short-term and
long-term training classes covering ALL of PCB design.

Good Luck,

Hi!

I'm looking to find a tranning course for PCB design
& layout. It would be prefer to be in Canada, if such
courses are available here... if not I'll go where ever
I have to.

The course should be about the following points or
more:

-Crosstalk
-coupling reduction techniques
-electrical properties of PCB's
-design points
-Common impedance coupling
-transmission line model
-earth loops
-Radiation from digital circuits
-basic radiating structures
(snip)
-And the list go on...

Can you direct me some were or to someone?

Thank you for your time.

Jimmy Blier
