Hello PCB Designers,
Is there some "rule of thumb" that will give one an idea of how much pcb
area and/or number of layers required to interconnect a given number of smt
devices ?
I realize that this may depend on the router program used, but there must
be some "ballpark" figure that can be used.
I have seen numbers for thru-hole designs but never anything for smt.
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Gene
