i have question on the ipc-a-600 "Acceptability of Printed Boards" para
2.7.1 on the Nonconfroming-Class 1,2,3 it state that
"Pits, pinholes and surface nodules expose base metal and/or exceed a)the
minimum allowed, or b)the dimensional area or height allowed in specified
contact area."
my question is what is the minimum allowed? is it the size of 0.5mm for
class 1 and 0.13mm for class2 as it acceptable for exposed plating overlap.
thx
