Hello ...

... to all PCB Design professionals, engineers, manufacturing personnel,
and industry movers,

I'm Jim Yohe, President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the IPC
Designers Council. Along with our Executive Board we'd like to extend a
hearty invitation to you to attend our first general meeting on
September 16th from 6pm to 8pm at Sequent Computer Systems (15450 SW
Koll Parkway, Beaverton, OR) in the EDO building.

(Please RSVP for security purposes to my email address below by
September 14th.)

The main topic at that meeting will be that of Designing for Microvias.
Please plan on attending this open forum discussion and come away with a
wider view of the challenges in techniques, attitudes, and costs. Share
your own experiences with others and we'll all benefit. There is no
cost to attend this meeting.

The IPC (The Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic
Circuits) is a trade association representing over 2300 companies in the
electronic interconnection industry worldwide.

The IPC Designers Council is an international network of designers. Its
mission is to promote printed board and printed board assembly design as
a profession and to encourage, facilitate and promote the exchange of
information and integration of new design concepts through
communications, seminars, workshops and professional certification
through a network of local chapters.

The goals of the designers council are to improve communications, to
provide designers a greater role in standards development, to improve
educational opportunities for designers and to improve the recognition
of the printed board design profession.

Learn more about the IPC and walk away with information to review and
share. For your benefit and that of your company please make the
Pacific Northwest Chapter of the IPC Designers Council your voice to
world!
