I'm not used to looking at micro-sections, but I was looking at a photo and
noticed what looked like two layers of plating on top of the original
copper layer.
When I asked about it, I was told that the bare board supplier flips the
board 180 degrees and plates again, trying to get a more uniform plating
thickness across the panel.
Is this a common practice?
I haven't heard of that.
