     Hi Yehuda -

Take a look at ASTM D 1002 to see if that fits your set of conditions.
The D1002 specification should also list other ASTM shear type
     methods.

Subject: FAB: Lap shear test

Hi Technetters,

I'm interested in applying a test method for adhesion of layers in a multilayer.
I used to do a peel test and it worked fine with Teflon and even FR-4 layers
but Polyimide layers are just too
brittle to bend and peel. So instead I wish to do a "Lap shear test".

Can anybody help me out by pointing me to an applicable standard test method?

Thanks,
Yehuda
