"If you ever heard it, you would not forget it..."

You're right Rudy ... those ads do stick in your head. I grew up in
southern New York in the 60s, listening to WABC radio, and in our area
those blaring SUNDAY!! SUNDAY!! SUNDAY!! ads were for the NHRA/Funnycar
races in Englishtown, New Jersey.

Seem to recall that just about every one of those spots had a plug for
some guy named "Jungle Jim Lieberman"

If you are going to bring up fast cars...

Back in the 60's, there were a couple of guys who produced commercials
for drag strips around the country, noted for the fact that they
literally screamed into the microphones about upcoming events at
whatever drag strip they were advertising for.

They started each ad with each guy screaming "SUNDAYSUNDAYSUNDAY @
beautiful "fill in the blank" raceway SEE SCREAMING JOHN ....etc...

If you ever heard it, you would not forget it...

Anybody got a recording of one of these ads? I would LOVE to get a
recording.
