What I heard is that the China legislation will be in effect by 1.
January 2006.
However, there might be a problem in understanding the EU- RoHS. These
regulations are not fixed:
The WEEE will be reviewed 5 years after the entry into force which was
at the 27 January 2003
The RoHs will be reviewed no later than 13 February 2005 (no Friday)
and then at least every four years
It is obvious that the review will not relax the restrictions but
rather tighten them.
