But also read the comment by Katsuaki Suganuma.
At the moment I believe the mechanisms for transformation are not
understood e.g. is mechanical stress an accelerator etc etc?
Given the lack of knowledge on accelerating mechanisms, what advice to
you give to a non-RoHS exempt customer who wants 20 year plus life for
their product in Alaska?
The work done at NPL allows (hopefully) exploration of those mechanisms
without having to wait for a considerable time (proving a negative?)
