In researching information for a recent presentation I found the following
information regarding Japanese companies and their lead-free goals:

Panasonic - All products lead-free by 2001.
Sony - Eliminate lead from high density electronics by 2001.
Toshiba - Eliminate lead from mobile phones by 2001.
Fujitsu - All products lead-free by 2002.
NEC - Reduce lead 50% by 2002.
