Hi MD-GordonD, IPC LF Listservers,

I am not a chemist or a chemical engineer, YET I have friends and a
knowledge, experience association with these two fields of engineering and
science. Printed Circuits is a combination of electrical, mechanical yet
mostly chemical expertees.

What I believe they will tell you is happening would be called Overkill, or
a Reaction that once started doesn't want to stop. If you control the rate
of reaction you can create a greater thickness. As you can imagine the
deposition at the outer layers could be different than the boundary layers
since the chemistry kind of changes.

Yours in Engineering, Dave
