Think about the benefits of banning rosin. In baseball, the pitcher will no longer have the rosin bag on the mound. It should speed up the game!

Violinists use rosin to increase the friction between bow and string.
Maybe we have to string along and bow to their fiddles, that's if we
have the guts to bridge the gap. Do the proponents make a sound board?
Have you ever seen a violinist wear a face mask to prevent the rosin
dust from being inhaled?
