Jean-Pacal,

TI can supply both through-hole and surface mount components with a Pb-free
finish to anyone performing evaluations.  Texas Instruments is nearly 100%
converted in our Logic and Linear product groups to Ni/Pd finish which is
Pb-free.  We've been shipping totally Pb-free components since 1989 and a
rough estimate is at least 30 billion Ni/Pd finished ICs in the field.  This
is not meant to be a plug as this site is not intended for commercialization
or marketing, but we would like you to know that we can supply dummy
components or daisy-chain units, whichever you prefer.  You can contact me
directly with details of your request.  We would be very interested in the
results of any work that you do.
