Hello,

I would like to know if the exemption 12 for RoHS is still valid. The information in the RoHS Recast indicate:

May be used in spare parts for EEE placed on
the market before 24 September 2010

So it does not specifically say that it is expired. If it was, I would have expected the comment to be like exemption 14:

Expired on 1 January 2011 and after that date
may be used in spare parts for EEE placed on
the market before 1 January 2011

So, what is confusing me is if this is a valid exemption why indicate that it can be used in spare parts?

Thanks for the clarification!

Best regards!

David
