Hi Ken,
Unfortunately, "120 ppm/c (ambient to 288C)" is technical nonsense, because
it combine 2 regions with different CTEs. All you can conclude from this is
that from ambient [25C] to 288C [delta-T= 263C] there is a thermal expansion of
120e-6 x 100 x 263 = 3.16%
