Hi John, IPC LF Listservers,

Thanks John,

I wouldn't say doomed as the author noted, yet I would say delayed,
dragging, difficult. Otherwise I think most of us share his thoughts about
company compliance and knowledge.

This change is bigger than most imagined and most companies as last minute
warriors might still help the EU-P make changes just like those French
youth demonstrating to prevent companies and their country from moving up
probational employment periods from 6 months to 3 years so companies can
fire the young way too easily.

It is going to be interesting as we get closer to 01Jul2006.

Maybe more and more will ask the question...
What is the real life and environment advantage of this change??
Is SbPb really a Weapon of Mass Destruction or is it the boggie man?

Yours in Engineering, Dave
