The term 'white goods' refers to household electrical appliances such as

fridges, freezers, washing machines, tumble driers etc.

The term 'brown goods' refers to household electrical entertainment

appliances, tv's, music centres, DVD players etc.

Chris

Forgive my ignorance:

1) do the A-380's that you are referring to already use lead-free

avionics?

2) what is "white goods"? Can you give references to articles on the

"several appliance manufacturers" that have pulled their warranties?

Thanks,

Jean-Paul

I've heard that several appliance manufacturers have pulled their

warraties

on white goods.
