Dear Leadfree Participants,

Just wanted to remind you that NIST is a portal for your comments on 
WTO TBT issues announced by any country.  As some of you know, NIST 
has a website called Notify US.  You can sign up and enter your 
comments at the website.  The link provided by Anne Meininger below 
tells you how.  Your input will help our trade representatives when 
they formulate plans and policies for interacting with other nations.

I see Norway wants to substantially up the ante on restrictions.  A 
factor of 10 lower for the metals in RoHS, plus so many additional 
restrictions!  Do your companies and organizations have the testing 
capabilities to handle all of it?  I hope these countries don't 
expect IEC TC111 to do all that heavy lifting of standards 
development.  We're way behind on the RoHS standard as it is.
