hello everyone !
I'm searching for informations about the solder paste overcost induced by
lead substitution. (for SnAgCu and SnAg solder pastes)
Some suppliers estimate it about 20-30 % of the price.
Could anyone help me ?

I feel that if someone has done his homework and gone leadfree, he's
hardly likely to have 2 production lines for the same product. The
incremental operational savings by staying with 63/37 when he is also
using lead free are hardly likely, IMHO, to be significant (probably
negative), after deduction of the amortisation of the incremental
capital costs. And think of the nightmare of servicing, with potential
mix-ups between the two types.
