Carl,

In view of the piffling amount of lead used in the world electronics
industry, how about:

Exemptions for lead...

Lead used in electronic assembly manufacturing.

AND - AND - AND before every environmentalist hurls abuse in my direction,

Suggest that companies PROVING the use of lead-free manufacturing may enjoy
a reduced level of Corporation Tax (that's tax on profit for those outside
the UK). How to prove? Easy, show your supplier info before and after.

This way an incentive is available that won't harm anyone unduly - because I
don't know of many companies that reduce prices when they make nice savings.

Regards,
Graham Naisbitt
