I do not think the problem is to pass on the information (even about
internal debates in the commission) but more to forget to precise the
STATUS of this information: e.g in this case the fact this document is
still being debated at the commission's level and for possible adoption by
the Commissioneers on the 7th of june.
This sense of correctness should apply in all cases;but I have to admit it
is not the first time ,and probably not the last one,we will see biased
information on leadfree regulation evolution:the more frequent bias is
partial information
