Hi,
I am a graduate student of Mechanical Engineering at University of
Massachusetts Lowell and currently I am doing a project on Lead Free Solder
with Prof. Sammy Shina.
I am planning to attend the IPC works 99 and it seems to me that there are
many of us interested on this issue and planning to attend the IPC works
99' from Boston area.
 We have been thinking of creating a lead free forum from Greater Boston
and merrimack valley area so that we can meet at least once in a month for
lunch under the flagship of UMass Lowell or Massachusetts Toxic Research
Institute (TURI) where we can  share ideas  and talk about the current
issues on Lead free.
By the way our project is funded by TURI.
we have already met couple people and the response has been very
encouraging.
We can meet before going to IPC works or after coming back from the
conference. This is not a mandatory and we welcome any suggestions.
