Does anyone have examples to share of IPC-1752 forms that have been
filled out? The whole thing seems a little unwieldy.

Regards,
Scott H.

Subject: Re: [LF] PCB Mfg. Note for ENIG finish

Hi Frank, IPC LF Listservers,

Good set of notes Frank,
Hopefully these are on a physical print, or specification.

Some quick thoughts, additions, until I think furthur, if I do.

1. ALL MATERIALS ARE TO BE ROHS COMPLIANT.
  FABRICATE PER ANSI/IPC-A-600,IPC-QE-605,
  IPC-4101,IPC-4552 AND IPC-SM-840 SPECIFICATIONS.

2. Materials that are RoHS Compliant shall be reported
using IPC-1752. (This will hopefully soon be an IEC document)

3. Materials shall pass the IPC/IEC ???? XRF test at each
stage of manufacture to assist in RoHS Compliance

^ (After all we have to support USA-NIST JohnS and
   (our buddy Mark from Europa}
^ (And besides it makes good process engineering sense)

My added 2 and 3 would just be moved above your current 2.

BTWay, When I read the original note I was kind of thinking that with
this
new LF, Pb-free technology and all it's small complications, notes in a
document might not be the best way to go to assure sustained, as best
can
be, quality. Notes are great, yet they do have their limitations.

Yours in Engineering, Dave
