To be more accurate there is no ban proposed.
There is a consultation process in prgress which asks for stakeholder opinion
on certain substances - an ongoing process in Canada which has been around
longer even than the EU's REACH regulation.

Named substances (amongst others in this batch) are:
* Resin acids and Rosin acids, hydrogenated, esters with pentaerythritol
* Rosin, hydrogenated
* Resin acids and Rosin acids, hydrogenated, esters with glycerol
* Resin acids and Rosin acids, hydrogenated, esters with triethylene glycol
* Resin acids and Rosin acids, fumarated, barium salts
The deadline for comments is next week, so suggest that responses are made!
