Let me go on record as saying a nod is as good as a wink to a blind

George, thank you!
I will now continue on with my "small-minded jaundiced opinions" and
"blinkered views". Let's close this one up.

I don't believe those guys are missing the point. They know it is a law
and they are following the law and spending most of their time making
sure they are not only following the law but making sure their products
are as reliable as they can be. I think what they are saying is that
not all laws are smart laws, some are dumb laws and the law makers need
to be reminded about how dumb the laws are so they think twice about
issues new dumb laws and give some consideration to making dumb laws a
little smarter.

Regards,
George

I believe that you guys are missing the point. Its not a question of
the correctness of the law but the fact that it is the law. We should be
concentrating our limited resources on making the process work as
smoothly and reliably as possible.

I completely agree. Pete nailed it on the nose.

just because there were a lot of minds coming to the same opinion
doesn't make it right. Which minds is more important than how many.
I'm sure those same minds would not appreciate a lot of engineering
minds telling them new ways they must practice law.
