I read this mainly as a means of tightening up on the exemptions, rather
than allowing further exemptions. However, a strongly worded document
giving all the arguments that have been discussed on this forum, showing
that RoHS is not sustainable nor environmentally favourable, will cause
professional electronics to become less reliable and that the quantity
of lead in electronics solder involved is quasi-negligible, that no risk
assessment has been conducted etc. may just have some effect.
