Martin:

I was able to open the docment here using  Word from Office97 SR-2.  I did notice from the properties of the document that the template used was a "COM.dot" not the Normal.dot that is usually used. I don't know if Microsoft uses different templates for European documents, which might affect the compatibility with users here in the US.

At any rate, you see this post, Erik de Kluizenaar can you please respond to this.

Don't know whether anyone else will report a problem, but my copy of Word 97
refuses to recognise the file you attached. Even if this was a Word2000
document, the formats are supposed to be compatible. Can you help?
