Nitin,
One has to be careful in mixing SnPb solders and lead-free solders from
reflow process viewpoint. The points are:
1. Is the reflow profile used for SnPb process applicable to
lead-free component. Temperature differential of leaded vs
lead-free may become significant depending upon what lead-free
solder is used.
2. Is the flux used for SnPb suitable for lead-free? Again higher
temperature used for lead-free solder may become an issue.
3. If the SnPb is a no-clean process, how that will affect lead-free
component? Does it require a separate cleaning process?
Hope this helps.
