Hi CA-Joe, CA-Harvey, IPC LF Listservers,

(Note CA means they both live in California, Govenator-Arnie's state)

Joe, Thanks

Joe, you might want to add Pb-free or Pb free as the first search term. I
have seen this used in several places. Solder is good yet circuit might
have limited your hits.

<--- From JoeA's note
<Lead free OR leadfree OR lead-free AND solder AND circuit,>
<---

I have already heard about patents in this arena that are kind of stupid to
me. The one I am thinking about uses a natural thing that happens when you
use SAC vs SnPb and calls it inventive.

The industry, and of course attorneys are going to have fun with these
patents. Hey CHUCK start counting the money. Your former employer might
soon beg you to come back since you are more knowledgable than most.

Yours in Engineering, Dave
