X-ray analysis professionally interpreted.
Lead was on the lead frame in all cases.
Components came from all points of the compass.

Chris,

Did the distributor mention how they plan to prevent this in the
future, or share their test method?

Thanks,
Quintin

At a SMART Group event held yesterday here in the UK a major global
component distributor said that after testing 10 parts supplied to
them
as RoHS compliant, 4 out of the 10 parts proved to contain lead well
above the acceptable limit.................................

It's gonna be fun all the way......................

Regards,
Chris
