The adoption of the automotive legislation is delayed from June until the
next meeting in October. However, it is not the hazardous material bans
that are the cause of the delay but concern over the take back of older
vehicles.

Dennis,

This is not an IPC issue. Here in Europe legislation has been created and
passed
based upon consumer pressure over "green" issues. Not even the mighty car
lobby
could steer the legislators into exceptions.
