Infected - means infected with bodily fluids, drugs or similar, and
therefore not easily handled for recycling (as far as I know).

Maybe Kay N from Tin can tell us yet I also thought this was a weird
term
in the directives. I think it might have to do with immunology i.e.
anti-bodies or other type agents added to the body like in Diabetes
situations, yet the term "infected" might be a european term that we in
the USA, Asia, etc need to translate into our word or word phrase.
