Dear All,

my company is designing a sensor which uses a silver electrode.
We see that a PCB with exposed silver plated trace is a very cost
effective way of achieving this...
...but the catch is that the silver processes I have been able to find
have an organic material distributed throughout the silver layer to
improve its tarnish resistance and wetting. This organic may interfere
with the operation of the sensor. We'll get a panel made to trial but we
are not optimistic -(

Are there any companies which offer a PCB silver plating service which
puts down pure silver or pure silver with a readily removable protective
layer?

regards,
Colin Smith
