There are other studies; some in Japan and others that have been carried
out by individual companies. They produce varied results - however, most
of it is not published.
I think there is one other paper specifically on solders that is
available, and we have many many other older papers on the subject at
Tin Technology comparing different purity Sn and alloys, as well as
other factors. I expect you know that metal purity has a significant
influence on the occurrence of pest.
